White ‘mealy’ clusters in crevices on the plant.
Solution
Remove small infestations with a damp cloth. For severe infestations, try Yates Conqueror Oil. Test on a small inconspicuous spot first before a more widespread spray as succulents can be quite sensitive to oil-based products.

Soft Scale
Light coloured growths on the plant, up to about 8mm diameter. Easily crushed and scratched off the plant.

Root rot
Plants turn yellow or brown and leaves rot, or plant dies.
Solution
Improve drainage. Reduce watering frequency, allowing soil to dry out between watering.
