Yates Clonex Root Gel
Purple (Softwood and Semi-Hard Wood)
A gel hormone that promotes root growth for propagation. The 'purple' variety has been designed for use on softwood and semi-hardwood cuttings. Designed with no mixing required for no mess, simply cut a 5-15cm piece on an angle and dip the lower 1.5cm into the clonex and plant immediately.
Propagating is a great way to grow your garden and Yates Clonex Root Gel is just the product to help you do exactly that. Combine it with black magic seed raising mix to plant the cuttings in and you'll be growing from cuttings in no time! It is simple to use, little mess and you don't need much to get the plant going! Clonex root gel can be used on a wide variety of plants including Hydrangeas, Lavender, Chrysanthemum, Dahlia, Hibiscus, Lobelia, Osteospermum, Fuchsia and Salvia as well as Tomatoes, Capsicums, Chillies, Rosemary, French Taragon, Oregano, Thyme and Basil.

1. During the growing season select healthy tip shoots.
2. Take a 5 to 15cm piece and cut the base on an angle.
3. Dip the lower 1.5cm into Yates Clonex Root Gel - Softwood and Semi-Hard Wood Purple, then plant immediately into a propagating mix, like Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Keep moist during the entire period of root formation.
