Yates Thrive Natural Garden Lime is an all purpose certified input for organic gardening that contains natural lime (calcium carbonate) from Te Kuiti, in the King Country. Yates Thrive Natural Garden Lime adjusts soil acidity and helps to maintain the pH at an optimal level, enabling plants to easier access nutrients both in the soil and from other applied fertilisers, while the natural calcium helps to strengthen plants.

- Natural soil acidity adjuster - a soil sweetener that raises pH to ideal levels, boosting plant growth through improved plant nutrient uptake
- In acidic soils, certain nutrients are ‘locked in’, so the addition of Yates Thrive Natural Garden Lime ‘unlocks’ nutrients that then become available to plants
- Naturally strengthens plants - supplies a high level of calcium which strengthens plant cells including stems, flowers and fruit to help maintain healthy plant growth
- Natural soil conditioner - aerates heavy (clay) soils helping to improve soil structure for ideal plant growth
- Naturally boosts the decomposition of soil organic matter improving soil quality and stimulating earthworm and soil microbe activity - good for use in compost bins, garden beds and reducing the build up of lawn thatch

- One adult handful holds approximately 30g
- Apply in autumn and winter
- Do not apply close to acid loving plants such as azaleas, camellias and rhododendrons
Tip: Watch for the classic tell-tale sign of an acidic soil - yellow tips on young leaves of plants, which indicates that the soil requires addition of garden lime.
