RATSAK® Wax Blocks are an effective, easy to use solution that will kill rats and mice in a single feed!
Remove plastic wrapping from each wax block. Disposable gloves are recommended for handling wax blocks.
Place bait where there are signs of rodent activity. Do not place baits in the open.
Use 1 wax block at 1 or more locations, 2-3 metres apart for mice and for rats use 2 to 4 wax blocks, at 1 or 2 locations
Eliminate as far as practical all alternative food sources.
Bait should not be touched with bare hands, as this deters rats and mice from eating it.
Record the number and location of wax blocks for later replenishment and/or removal.
Inspect baits daily. Replace eaten baits.
Most rodent deaths occur 4 to 7 days after consumption of bait. Baiting for at least 2 weeks will be necessary to reduce rat and mice numbers.
One feed is sufficient to kill rats and mice. Rats and mice will continue to eat the bait after a lethal dose has been consumed.

WARNING: May be harmful if swallowed and may cause damage to the blood and hematopoietic system through prolonged or repeated exposure.
PRECAUTIONS: DO NOT store near food or feed. DO NOT lay bait stations in places accessible to children, pets and domestic animals. After each baiting, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
STORAGE & DISPOSAL: Store in original packaging, in a safe place out of reach of children. Ensure bait stations are removed when rodent activity has ceased. Containers which have held bait should not be used for any other purpose. Burn empty container if circumstances such as wind direction permit, otherwise crush and bury in a suitable landfill. Wrap uneaten or unused baits, place in plastic bag and put into the rubbish. Look for and retrieve dead rats and mice when feasible. Burn, or bury carcasses in landfill; do not place in refuse bins.
TREATMENT OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS: Depending on the amount eaten, this bait may kill or injure dogs, cats, pigs, poultry and wildlife. DO NOT place baits in locations which are accessible to pets, domestic animals, livestock or birds. DO NOT contaminate dams, waterways and drains with the bait or its used container. Vitamin K1 is an effective antidote against accidental poisoning of domestic animals.
NOTE TO PHYSICIANS AND VETERINARIANS: Brodifacoum, the active constituent of RATSAK Wax Blocks, is a long lasting anticoagulant chemical, which if ingested by humans, domestic animals or pets, can reduce the clotting power of the blood and haemorrhage may result. Vitamin K1 (Phytomenadione) should be administered urgently by medical, appropriate para-medical personnel or veterinarians. If administered intravenously the injection must be given slowly.
FIRST AID: FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY, CALL 0800 734 607 (ALL HOURS). If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. For advice, contact the National Poisons Centre (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately.
