Sweetly fragranced Hidcote has a very high lavender oil content, which gives off a very strong perfume. Features darker, deeper purple flower spikes than standard lavender. Ideal for hedging, due to an upright and compact habit. Excellent for potpourris and sachets, infusions, or delightful scented bouquets.

How
Sow into trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down, water gently and keep moist through germination period. Transplant when large enough to handle into small individual pots. When seedlings are well developed plant out into the garden or larger pots.
Care
Choose a very well-drained, Sunny site (these plants do not like over-moist conditions). Add Yates Thrive Natural Blood & Bone and Yates Thrive Natural Yates Thrive Natural Garden Lime before planting. Water occasionally during Summer and apply Yates Thrive Roses & Flowers Liquid Plant Food to promote growth. Protect from snails and slugs.
Hint
Cut back after flushes of flowering to retain shape and promote young healthy growth.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
