To celebrate our 140th year in the seed business, we're excited to bring back some old, old favourites from our archives!
A sweet, mild tasting heirloom tomato with bite-sized, bright yellow pear-shaped fruit. A tall, vigorous and productive variety which requires staking.
Sow seed into trays of Yates Black Magic® Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant seedlings when about 5 cm high.
Choose a well drained sunny position. Prepare soil by adding Yates Thrive® Natural Blood & Bone. When first flowers appear begin applying Yates Thrive® Tomato Liquid Plant Food regularly. Protect from snails & slugs.
Help prevent blossom end rot by keeping the soil or potting mix consistently moist. Pick fruit regularly to promote a longer harvest. Great to grow with other salad ingredients such as basil, lettuce, parsley, cucumber, beetroot, radish and carrots.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
