This rich, red, globe-shaped favourite is sweet and tender. Yates organic seeds have been grown just as nature intended, under strictly-controlled, organic, chemical free conditions.

Product details
How
Each "seed" is a cluster of 1-4 true seeds in a corky outer coating. Soak for two hours before sowing to ensure water penetrates to seeds. Sow direct where they are to grow or in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. When 3-5cm tall, separate clustered seedlings and transplant.
Care
Grow in a sunny, well-drained position. Incorporate compost and Yates Thrive Natural Blood & Bone into soil before planting. Make successive sowings every few weeks, Water at base of plant to reduce risk of disease.
Hint
Great companion plant for Beans, broccoli, lettace, onions, potatoes and peas. Pick young leaves and add to salad mixes
Storage
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Beetroot 'Derwent Globe'
Originally bred by Yates in Tasmania in the 1920s, Derwent Globe produces deep red, globe-shaped roots. Flesh is deliciously tender, juicy and sweet.
