This delicious hybrid beet is a strong and consistent grower, and quick to develop to generous full size. Super King forms attractive globe shaped roots, with tender flesh and a sweet, slightly earthy taste. Superb slowly roasted, used in relish, fresh salads, or as the ultimate in burger ingredients.

Product details
How
Each "seed" is a cluster of 1-4 true seeds in a corky outer coating. Soak for two hours before sowing to ensure water penetrates to seeds. Sow direct where they are to grow or in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. When 3-5cm tall, separate clustered seedlings and transplant.
Care
Grow in a Sunny well-drained position. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Plant Food regularly, and keep seedlings well watered. Make successive sowings every few weeks. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem.
Hint
Great companion plant for Beans, broccoli, lettuce, onions, pototoes and peas. Pick young leaves and add to salad mixes.
Storage
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
