Choose a Sunny, well-drained spot in the garden. Dig soil well and add Yates Thrive Natural Blood & Bone and compost before planting. Form a groove about 1cm deep into the moist soil. Place the tape flat in the bottom of the groove (remember the tape can be cut to any length) and lightly cover. Keep well watered. Allow 25- 40cm between rows. Thin young plants if necessary.
Apply Yates Thrive All Purpose Soluble Plant Food regularly and keep seedlings well watered. Choose a Sunny, well-drained position. Plant in a different garden bed each year to avoid soil-borne diseases. Cut the centre head well before flowers open. Protect from snails and slugs with Yates Blitzem Snail & Slug Pellets. Control leaf-eating caterpillars with Yates Success Ultra or a Yates Vegetable Dust (Derris).
Great companion plant for peas, broad Beans and potatoes. Easy to handle - saves time and work, pre spaced seeds - less thinning out, versatile - sow tape any length required, environmentally friendly.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
