Mid-season, highly productive, producing firm green heads that retain colour and flavour for a long time after reaching maturity.
For best results raise in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant when about 7cm high.
Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Prior to planting work on generous quantities of Lime and Thrive Granular All Purpose Fertiliser. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem. Apply Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser fortnightly to improve the crop. Successive sowings will greatly extend the picking season.
Great companion plant for Beans, beets, cucumbers, marigolds, peas, potatoes & tomatoes. Brussels Sprouts are not suitable for growing tropical/sub-tropical regions. Remove leaves as sprouts are harvested.
