Also known as the Indian Finger Hot Pepper, this flavoursome chilli is a popular all-rounder for Indian cooking. Perfect for using green or fully-ripened red. Delicious in curries, chutneys, pickles and salads, and ideal for drying. Jwala has a distinctive fruity, apple-like flavour, and is rated at a moderately spicy 30,000-50,000 Scoville units.
Jwala means "flame" in Hindi; a cheerful hint about the character of this chilli!
