This easy to grow Lebanese type zucchini produces stubby, grey-green speckled fruit, with subtle stripes. Delicious, firm white flesh adds succulent texture to a meal. Greyzini is an old favourite, best known for producing super abundant yields on vigorous, upright plants.
For early sowing, raise in pots of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix in a well-lit, protected spot. Transplant after 2-4 weeks. For direct sowing press 3-4 seeds into the center of a shallow depression (so that water is directed to plant roots) on top of a raised mound of moist soil 70cm apart. Later thin to the two strongest plants. .
Select a Sunny, well-drained position. Add compost and Yates Thrive Natural Blood & Bone before sowing and feed regularly with Yates Thrive Flower & Fruit Soluble Plant Food. Keep well watered at base of plant. Protect from snails and slugs.
Harvest when zucchinis are about 15cm long, to encourage higher yields. Keep well mulched.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
