A selective hormonal weedkiller that controls broadleaf weeds only. Yates Woody Weedkiller is particularly effective against woody scrub weeds, hard-to-kill broadleaf weeds and re-sprouting tree stumps.
BEWARE: Apply this product carefully. Spray drift may cause serious damage to other desirable plants. DO NOT apply on or around food or animal feed crops. DO NOT Plant shrubs until 6 months have elapsed since treatment with Yates Woody Weedkiller Concentrate. DO NOT compost lawn clippings until 3 cuttings following treatment.
LAWNS: To control broadleaf weeds, like onehunga weed and clovers in lawns established one year or more. Apply to actively growing weeds in spring or autumn. Use 80ml per 100 square meters in 5 litres of water. Keep children, pets, wildlife and birds off treated lawns until the spray is dry.
HARD TO KILL BROADLEAF WEEDS: Convolvulus, dock, sorrel, Cape ivy, thistles and buttercups. Apply to actively growing weeds in full leaf. Use 120ml per 5 litres of water. Yates Woody Weedkiller Concentrate does not control grass weeds.
WOODY SCRUB WEEDS: Includes inkweeds, lupin, fennel and broom. Spray when growth is active from November until March. Use 120ml per 5 litres of water. Add Yates Sprayfix Wetting Agent for improved wetting.
METHOD OF APPLICATION: Apply overall or spot application using a sprayer or fine rose watering can. Agitate thoroughly while filling.
After use, thoroughly clean equipment and flush with clean water. DO NOT use equipment for spraying insecticides and fungicides.
NOTE: When weeds are not actively growing, effects may not become noticeable until 3-4 weeks after application.

WARNING: This material may be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. May cause irritation to the skin and eyes. May cause liver damage if taken orally at repeated high doses. Very toxic to aquatic life and the soil environment. May harm mammals, birds, insects and earthworms. Toxic to bees
PRECAUTIONS: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and inhalation of spray mist. Wear protective gloves and eye protection when mixing or using. Use product in well-ventilated areas. Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after use. Do not contaminate any water supply or fish ponds with product or empty container. DO NOT spray over, or allow drift over, an aquatic environment, onto other crops or outside the target area. This material is very damaging to grapes, tomatoes, and other sensitive crops. Spray must not contact plants in flower while bees are present, or plants likely to flower within 2 days of application and be visited by bees.
STORAGE & DISPOSAL: Store in original container, tightly closed, safely away from children, domestic animals and foodstuffs. Dispose of this product only by using according to the label or at an approved landfill. Rinse empty container, puncture, and recycle or dispose of safely with domestic rubbish.

FIRST AID: If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting. For advice contact the National Poisons Centre 0800 POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately. If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water. If splashed in eyes, wash out immediately with running water for at least 15 mins and seek medical attention.
LIABILITY: This product must be used strictly as directed. Yates will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a failure to strictly follow the directions for use.
