I am gutted. My hollyhocks, self seeded in the paths - have got rust AND hollyhock wevil, according to Dr google. The flower buds are mostly all rotten and wormy, and the leaves are covered in spots and dying.
I didn't have time to hand water over the last couple of weeks - so I put the big sprinkler on in the mornings... I think this is the price I am paying.
Bugger.
