Trying a new way with carrots. Due to the fact that the seedling are irresistible to a large range of bugs, I battle sowing direct. They also don't like to be transplanted. So, growing in a cardboard tube, allows me to grow safely in a propagate, and transplant without disturbing the tap root. My first trial is a week or 2 off going into the raised bed between onions. Follow along and we see how it pans out.
22 Oct. Last of the winter carrots came out to make space for some peppers.
