It's been an absolutely stunning day up here in Northland. Feels like Summer is just around the corner.
The intention was to get the garden planted out today however it was too hot. My preference is to plant when we have rain on the way to give the plants a chance to get well rooted.
So today we got the last of the structures up and reflected on how far we have come. The top photo is what the bank looked like when we got the section and the bottom is where we are today. It's been a lot of work but definitely worth it.
For structures this year we are using left over fencing mesh and waratahs. Waratahs are now my new favorite post as they are pretty cheap, easy to smash into the ground, very strong and have holes that make it easy to secure stuff to them. Wish I new about these years ago!
