When I cut back my hydrangeas in winter I planted up some of the hardwood cuttings in potting mix. I then just left them alone for the rest of the winter.
today I potted up the well rooted cuttings into their own pots ready to grow on into good sized plants.
taking cuttings to make new plants couldn't be easier.
Over summer I also saved some seeds from a sanguine peach. These are the dark red peaches. I removed the pits from the shell and planted them. They stated to pop up at the beginning of spring and are now ready to be potted on. These peaches grow true to type and will produce peaches in three year's.
