Sometimes the boys take over the house and I retreat to my she shed , it's peaceful full of plants and books and gives me time to regroup my thoughts .
I have checked my seeds 6 times today and I have to say the heated propagation unit although small is a wee power house , only 4 days and I have cucumbers up toms poking though , it's a good 2 days faster than other methods , I also have used peat pellets the ones that come in wee disks then you soak both of these things are from my dad as we sadly lost him in June , I really miss our garden chats and how we used to both try different things each season , but I feel blessed to have inherited his green thumb and will think of him all the time when using the tools he's past down to me .
we also picked up 3 scoops of vege mixes that we need to add to the flower field tomorrow.
