This is my most favourite time of the year.
Well actually I will probably say that a lot because I love every part of the year that means I can get out in the fresh air and get my hands in the soil and spend time with my garden.
But this IS such a wonderful time because for the past few months it has been cold and wet and non-productive, and right now the buds on our fruit trees are fattening, the daffs are blooming, the daphne smells divine, our sweet peas are slowly but surely making their way up the trellis, our Agria potatoes are sending out their shoots below ground and the broad beans are flowering with the promise of fat pods in just a few weeks.
Come on in Springtime!!!
