It always seems odd that summer is the time to plant crops for winter but if it's left too late you don't get a decent harvest and so it is with leeks.
This is the first time I have grown leeks from seed. I sowed the seeds about two and a half months ago and they are now ready to plant out. I planted over fifty and these ones in the pot are what's left. I will pass them on as there are only so many leeks you have room in a garden for.
