Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas. Was very wet here, I actually can't recall the last Christmas Day where it didn't rain.
My husband chose great presents this year! A garden shed/ cabinet, has shelves in it as well as an open space for spades and rakes etc, some seedlings, a yellow tulip, my favourite magazines and a Yates book! He knows me too well 🙌🏻.
I havn't done a lot in the garden this past week other than harvesting courgettes and strawberries and our first lot of blueberries which was exciting to get them before the birds! I picked our first plums yesterday too, is definitely going to be a race to get those before the birds. The tree is far too big to net although I could possibly try to net some some of the lower branches. We're going away for 8 days soon so I'm sure I'll grow the biggest courgette within that time 😅. I bought myself a preserving pan for Christmas so when I get home I'm going to attempt some courgtte pickles!
