I planted some of the same seedlings in pots in soil from my lettuce bed. They get watered every day and get the same sunlight.
The kratky is much healthier, larger and pest free. The lettuce is at the lettuce bed so it will be as close as possible to what I would expect from the lettuce bed and gets all the natural bugs.
The photos show the difference in size. These are buttercrunch and mint crisp varieties. Both varieties show no difference of flavour.
This lettuce bar is a keeper for me 😁
