The cauliflower my son chose to plant are ready...all Six within a week as happens. Luckily it makes a lovely cauli Mac and cheese and is great in a stir fry as well. Although I feel we may need a break after this lot.
It is very wet outside but signs of spring are about, thick pollen in puddles, dahlias sprouting up. Beautiful plum flowers in bloom and the weeds are starting to flourish!
My window sills are filling up with peas and a last lot of brassica (cheeky but in wellington we have like 3 false springs) cherry tomato started but that won't go out for a good while. And now I wait for it to dry out so I can finish prepping my beds and pots. Happy spring everyone!
