I've had a busy day today. I worked this morning and then came home and mowed the lawns.
Lawnmowing is usually the domain of SH, but we are forecast rain this weekend and he mentioned yesterday that he may have to get them done today after work - I think that's a bit much for an old fella who has already spent nine hours on his feet in a workshop so I decided to get them sorted before he got home.
After the lawnmowing I planted out my seedlings of savoy cabbages and romanesco broccolli along with some spinach. They're sheltered under the awesome little cloches we bought a few months ago which will (hopefully) deter the white butterfly and keep the cats from digging up the new plantings when they need to do their business!!
We had 26 degrees here today but it was actually quite pleasant being out in the garden in shorts, a teeshirt and a wide brimmed hat along with plenty of sunblock.
I hope you're all getting some good weather to garden in as well.
