Carpathian Bellflower is a showy perennial that produces large, open faced bell-shaped flowers, on vigorous low mounded plants. Masses of upturned, starry violet blue flowers cover the entire plant. Prefers a well-drained position, and performs brilliantly in garden beds, pots and rock gardens.
Sow seed pellets direct where they are to grow or into trays of Yates® Black Magic® Seed Raising Mix. Firm down but don't cover, and keep moist through germination period. Transplant or thin out when large enough to handle.
Choose a very well drained position in full sun or part shade. Add Yates® Thrive® Natural Blood & Bone and Yates® Thrive® Natural Garden Lime before planting, and fertilise regularly with Yates® Thrive® Flower & Fruit Soluble Fertiliser. Protect from snails and slugs.
Continues to bloom for weeks if spent flowers are removed. Divide established plants every 2-3 years.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
