I make a wreath every Christmas from whatever I have growing in the garden. This year I’ve been trialling a herb wreath and it turned out to be a useful ornament.
I’ve been keeping this one in the kitchen, great for last minute additions to meals. Smells great too and once it’s all dry in January, I imagine, I can just put herbs into jars.
Rosemary was probably not the best herb choice, as it makes a bit of a mess as it dries. I also find I have to top it up every now and then as I keep on using the herbs! Parsley, on the other hand, keeps surprisingly well. I might just do a similar wreath next Christmas!
